Purpose

To create sustainable livelihood opportunities for women from low-income households through tourism-linked employment and economic independence.

Objective

Through our partnership with ACCESS Development Services, we support women-led electric rickshaw initiatives that enable women to earn stable incomes as part of a women-owned social enterprise, while contributing to responsible and low-impact tourism.

• Enabling steady, dignified incomes through tourism-linked livelihoods
• Strengthening women-owned enterprises through shared ownership and leadership
• Promoting eco-friendly transport solutions within heritage cities
• Successfully supporting implementation in Agra, with the initiative currently being extended to Varanasi
• Enhancing confidence, visibility, and long-term economic independence
